Family business grows into the 100-metre class
Wörle GmbH took delivery of its new RUTHMANNSTEIGER® T 1000 HF at a festive handover ceremony. For the family-owned company, this was much more than just an addition to its fleet; it was an emotional event marking the next big step in the company's development.
Wörle GmbH stands for solidarity, drive and passion. Founded in 1994 as a small family business in Reimlingen, Bavaria, the company now operates throughout Germany and beyond. Its services range from work platform services, sewer cleaning, stump grinding and tree felling to the rental of cranes, sanitary facilities and event equipment. Wörle is also a member of the PartnerLIFT association and thus part of a strong network of qualified machine and platform rental companies. Since December 2024, Felix Wörle has been running the company together with Jörg Wörle, a deliberately planned, cross-generational transition.
Club of 100 – Passion immortalised with a tattoo
The Wörle family's connection to Ruthmann is exceptionally clear: Jörg and Felix Wörle have had the ‘Club of 100’ logo tattooed on themselves, a visible sign of how strongly they support the joint collaboration. The club was originally founded as part of the exclusive launch of the STEIGER® T 1000 HF, and today all buyers of the new model feel they belong to this special group.
Wedding with cake – and craftsmanship
The first highlight on the way to the new 100-metre ladder was the “wedding”, i.e. the assembly of the ladder onto the carrier vehicle. The Wörle family was of course on site. At this moment, Jörg Wörle himself was allowed to lend a hand and hammer in the decisive bolt. Just like at a real wedding, there was also a cake. Jörg and Felix Wörle cut it together and celebrated with the Ruthmann team.
One of a kind: trellis, signatures and a birthday wish
The bond between the two companies was once again evident during the official handover of the vehicle: all Ruthmann colleagues involved in the project lined up to form a guard of honour. They also signed the tower of the vehicle, making the new T 1000 HF truly unique.
For Felix Wörle, this meant that a very personal birthday wish came true shortly before Christmas: a working height of 100 metres.
The STEIGER® T 1000 HF – developed to set new standards
With the STEIGER® T 1000 HF, Ruthmann is setting new standards in aerial access technology. The model reaches a working height of 100 metres and impresses with a lateral reach of up to 39 metres, surpassing comparable 100-metre truck-mounted work platforms by up to 10 metres in terms of reach.
Another advantage is that the T 1000 HF is built on a standard chassis and has a total weight of 53 tonnes on the road – around 10 tonnes less than comparable models. With a total length of only 16.35 metres, it remains compact and flexible in use despite its performance data.
Highlights of the STEIGER® T 1000 HF:
- Working height: 100 metres
- Lateral outreach: up to 39 metres
- Total weight: from 53 tonnes – lighter than comparable models
- Compact design: 16.35 metres total length
- High-performance technology for maximum stability and efficiency
Ruthmann would like to thank Wörle GmbH for their trust, close cooperation and enthusiasm, and wishes them many successful and safe operations with the new STEIGER® T 1000 HF.
