RUTHMANN presented the new RUTHMANN STEIGER® T 1000 HF to a select audience for the first time at an exclusive event. The event, themed ‘Club of 100’, took place in the impressive ambience of Velen Castle and attracted guests from all over the world.
The event opened with an impressive laser show, which prepared the participants for the highlight of the day: the unveiling of the new 100 metre high STEIGER® T 1000 HF. Uwe Strotmann, Managing Director of RUTHMANN Holdings GmbH, then welcomed the international guests and guided them through a varied programme.
‘With the STEIGER® T 1000 HF, we have once again set a milestone,’ explained Uwe Strotmann. ‘This STEIGER® combines maximum reach with a compact design and offers our customers the opportunity to master even the most demanding applications with maximum efficiency. We are proud to be able to present this ground-breaking model to such an exclusive circle.’
The main highlight of the event was the exclusive test drive with the new STEIGER® T 1000 HF on the factory premises in Gescher-Hochmoor. Participants had the unique opportunity to experience the 100 metre high machine live in action and see its performance for themselves. The STEIGER® T 1000 HF offers impressive performance data: a lateral reach of 39 metres - up to 10 metres more than the competition - with a total weight of 53 tonnes, which makes it 10 tonnes lighter than other models. Built on a compact standard chassis, it sets new standards in the industry.
In addition to the test drive, participants were able to gain an insight into production during guided factory tours. Many customers who had not been on site for some time were able to inspect the latest extensions to the plant. Particularly impressive were the two assembly halls for new RUTHMANN STEIGER® paired with synchronised logistics and the large service workshop with capacity for 40 workstations at the Hochmoor site. RUTHMANN is continuing its growth and is currently investing in the expansion of the service station in Hochmoor and the construction of a new logistics centre on an adjacent site.
The event also featured two presentations with technical insights into the development of the T 1000 HF and service highlights such as the RTC (Real TIME Connect) system, which enables a real-time connection for maintenance and diagnostics and thus significantly increases service efficiency. Thanks to RTC, costs can be reduced and the operating times of the work platforms increased.
With this event, RUTHMANN has once again demonstrated its innovative strength and focus on customer orientation and is looking forward to establishing the STEIGER® T 1000 HF internationally in the coming months.
Four units of the new model had already been sold before the event - clear proof of the demand and confidence in this innovative technology.
The next opportunity to experience the new STEIGER® T 1000 HF live will be at bauma in Munich in April 2025 or through individually arranged demonstrations.
