We are very proud to announce that our RUTHMANN STEIGER® Ampero TBR 250 E has won the Movicarga Award in the class > 3,5 t. With the 100% electric truck-mounted working platform we were able to convince the jury this year. The STEIGER® Ampero TBR 250 E was first presented at bauma in April.

Just last year our SKYperformance STEIGER® T 900 HF received the award in the category "Best truck-mounted working platform (large-scale equipment)".
This year's award ceremony took place in Madrid on September 19. Bert Wiegel, Managing Director of our Spanish partner AMCO Machinery & Consulting, accepted the award personally on behalf of RUTHMANN.

RUTHMANN STEIGER® Ampero TBR 250 E

The Ampero TBR 250 E is not only convincing due to its all-electric drive. The STEIGER® has a 230 kg basket load, has a 185° basket arm rotation angle and can be set up at an angle of up to 5°, making it an innovative truck-mounted working platform for maximum performance in manual applications. Thanks to the electric drive technology, the STEIGER® Ampero TBR 250 E enables low-noise, emission-free driving and working. Working in closed buildings or at night in residential areas is no longer an obstacle with the STEIGER®. The battery of the Sprinter is also used for the STEIGER® drive at the same time, so that only one charging device is required. The charging time at a 380 V charging station with 22 KW is max. 4 hours. The AMPERO TBR 250 E can also be charged at conventional 230 V sockets, so that no charging station is required for electric cars. The battery capacity is sufficient for a complete working day, e.g. 100 km in urban traffic plus approx. 30 working cycles, which corresponds to a continuous operation of 4 hours of the STEIGER®.
