Truck-mounted aerial work platforms (boom trucks) are often used on assignments in high-density areas (e.g. inner-cities, parks, etc.). Passersby often complain about the noise and exhaust emissions from running engines, which are normally used to power the work platform. The new ECOLINE hybrid drive models – with 16 m and 18 m working heights – now offer quiet, CO2-free and emission-free operation.

For the German STEIGER® manufacturer – RUTHMANN – the DRS (Dynamic Reach System) ushers in a new era in control technology. For STEIGER® customers, the unprecedented performance capabilities unlock groundbreaking opportunities at the job site.

In the context of announcing the STEIGER® T 900 HF, RUTHMANN is also presenting the new work basket for the highflex series of large-scale equipment. The innovations offer a long list of benefits.

Through the new BLUELIFT SA 31, RUTHMANN creates a tracked spider lift for specifically inaccessible working places and likewise suitable for everyday life. The SA 31 can be positioned in the segment of the 30-meter high tracked spider lifts primarily on account of its compact dimensions and newly developed functions. Fields of applications for the SA 31 are e.g. tree-pruning, industrial cleaning (e.g. in backyards), in indoor and outdoor areas which generally are difficult to access (shopping centres, exhibition halls) and moreover in a wide range of industrial applications (assembly project, observations). RUTHMANN satisfies with the SA 31 the researched needs of the customers and operators.

Right on time for the largest construction machinery trade show in France, Intermat in Paris, RUTHMANN is premiering its newest truck-mounted working platform: the SKY performance STEIGER® T 900 HF. Equipped with DRS (= Dynamic Reach System) and with its revolutionary Dual Concept, RUTHMANN’s T 900 HF represents a quantum leap in the 90 m truck-mounted working platform category.

On October 2nd, 2017, RUTHMANN acquired 100% of the outstanding shares of HUBItec AG. The company now operates under the new name – RUTHMANN Schweiz AG. With this acquisition, HUBItech’s existing operational framework will be adopted and expanded. This is another major milestone in RUTHMANN’s ongoing internationalization initiative. The company has now achieved all of its strategic goals in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

On September 21st ,2017 – after just 7 months of construction – RUTHMANN opened its brand-new Bavarian service center. The previous location in Ingolstadt could no longer meet the ever-growing customer requirements. RUTHMANN invested 2.4 million euros in the new service center in Geisenfeld-Ilmendorf – located just 15 km from the previous location. Further expansion is being planned.

The well-known Spanish equipment rental company – AP Lift – recently took delivery of a RUTHMANN HEIGHT performance-STEIGER ® T 630 and a 3.5 t RUTHMANN STEIGER ® TB 270+. The deal was arranged by AMCO Machinery & Consulting – RUTHMANN’s new sales and service partner in Spain.

After placing a record-breaking order with RUTHMANN in 2015, the same customer is back for more in 2016.

After enjoying yet another successful year in 2015, RUTHMANN has started the year with many orders on hand. Numerous incoming orders were processed in January alone. For the German aerial work platform manufacturer, 2016 looks very promising indeed.
